Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, just made her first public acknowledgment of the tragedy that took her husband and 13-year-old daughter, by sharing a heartbreaking photo of the two of them together.
Vanessa Bryant just changed the profile picture of her Instagram account to a photo of Kobe and Gigi embracing on a basketball court.
In the picture, Kobe is holding Gianna, and she has her arm around his shoulder. The moment was captured as the NBA legend is lovingly looking down at his daughter on the court.
This is the first public movement made by Kobe’s wife to address the tragic situation.
Obviously, at this point, Vanessa has not publically addressed the passing of her husband or daughter but changing the profile photo is the first time she has done anything publically.
Vanessa and Kobe met during a music video shoot in 1999. The couple was engaged when she was 18 years old and they married in April of 2001. The couple shares 4 daughters together, 17-year-old Natalia, 13-year-old Gianna, 3-year-old Bianka, and 7-month-old Capri

Investigators have asked the public to send photos of the weather at the time of the accident, to the NTSB, appeared to acknowledge the fog may have been partially to blame for the accident.
