Teresa Giudice Looking For A Sugar Daddy After Husband Joe’s Deportation?

Teresa Giudice is not looking for a sugar daddy to take care of her after her husband, Joe Giudice, is deported to Italy. The story, which appeared on a blog earlier this week, is false. Gossip Cop can correct it.

According to a post on RadarOnline, Giudice is looking for a rich man to marry in light of her husband’s immigration situation. The article claims the Real Housewives of New Jersey is ready to divorce Joe, and the outlet quotes a so-called “source close to the reality star” as saying, “Teresa says she needs a guy with his own money, and a lot of it. She is not going to support a guy.” The publication goes on to allege that Teresa wants to find a man that will “shower her in jewelry, cars, trips, all the things she hasn’t had in years.”

For years now, the Giudices have been dealing with the legal consequences after their guilty plea to federal charges for fraud in 2014. Teresa served 11 months in prison for her part in the crime, and after she was released, Joe reported to jail to serve a 41-month sentence. While Joe was doing his time, a judge ruled that he should be deported to his native Italy. While he has served his prison term, he remains behind bars in an ICE detention center as he and his legal team fight the order. Recently, a judge in the case granted Joe’s request to go to Italy while the legal battle goes on so he can get out of the detention center where he has been held.

Gossip Cop reached out to Teresa’s lawyer about the rumor, who told us it was “fake news.” There is no evidence that Teresa is ready to divorce Joe, and certainly no evidence that she is looking for a sugar daddy, as the tabloid reports. The facts in the case are that Joe has not been deported. There hasn’t been a ruling on that, yet. The court case and the couple’s marriage figures to be major plot point of the upcoming 10th season of RHONJ, and in a trailer released by Bravo, the couple are seen talking on the phone about their marriage, with Teresa crying and denying having an affair.

The Giudices have predictably been fodder for the tabloids a lot lately. Last month, RadarOnline’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, published a report that Teresa was demanding that her kids get paid for their appearances on RHONJ, which is not typically how the show works. Her reason, according to the phony report was that she was trying to “secure the girls’ financial future.” Gossip Cop called the outlet out for that report after checking in with her lawyer, who denied the story, just as he denied this current bogus report.
